I'm posting here an article on natural remedies for giardia in dogs. Currently my poor little Cocker Spaniel has recurrent giardia and has been on medication, taken the shot and I'm really frustrated and she's getting sicker. However, that' s not why I'm talking chickens but it has given me an idea for worms and other parasites in chickens. But I'll need the chicken experts to look at the idea. (If this idea's been around before, I'm sorry for bringing it up again.)

I wonder if it could be beneficial to our chickens as well. What do others think?

P.S. I'm taking any suggestions (except euthanasia) about Julie, the Spaniel. I'm going to try this remedy but since we water with irrigation water and it's in the river there's no way of getting rid of giardia in the yard.
