Am I in denial?

We hatched some of our hens eggs back in April. These guys are 15 or so weeks old. The rooster is an ameracauna, the 2 lighter birds are crossed with buff orpingtons and the darker one a golden comet. The gc cross lost some feathers when I had to clean the caked on poo off its bum when it was a day old. I'm I'm denial I think.
 
How do you know if my rooster is an Easter egger as opposed to an ameracauna? I didn't post a pic of him.


Basically, yellow legs is a recessive trait and single comb is also a recessive trait. Since both of those traits showed up in the crosses..... the roo was not pure amer. Those traits are very common in EE though.


edited to add, amers are supposed to be pure for blue legs, therefore they are to throw only white(like the last boy) or blue legs in crosses.
