As they are bearded silkies they will take longer to give you an indication as to what they are.
I have 6 white silkies that's are 4 months old heres a photo of them. My best guess though is that they are probably hens? They are very hard to tell the sex till they get older.
Thank you Yours are as well! I'd love to have some buff, black, splash, or other colored ones! Mine are bantam silkies btw, But no I don't think it would be any different ! It's super duper hard to sex them until they are almost full grown! You'll know for sure the sex whenever one lays an egg or crows! HahaYour silkies are beautiful, do you think solid colors make sexing these fluffballs easier?
