There are clean legged cuckoo marans, but there should be a spot. Sometimes marans will hatch with clean legs, even though they should be feathered. It sure looks like some kind of marans chick to me.

The coloring is right, but it's too small. Even at just a day or two old, my black australorps were little tanks.

It came from Ideal hatchery... It was in the assorted bantam bin. I haven't had time to sit down and do research on "her" yet.... That's my goal tonight

anyone know what beed this is? She is ten weeks old

Do you know what color egg she came from and does she have a crest? (or at least the makings of one - a few feathers standing up behind her comb?

If so I'd say Crested Cream Legbar hen - she would have come from a blue colored egg.... but there are others that also look like this!
