Any idea what colour this silkie will be?

This is a one of a kind out of quite a big hatch of silkies from paint parent.

And idea what colour this little one will turn out? I know it’s pure silkie but not sure what underlying colour genetics are involved.

Just hatched one similar to that. It may be buff? Not sure

Looks like the partridge ones. Buffs are supposed to be an even tan color

Take the baby out, give it a mirror and stiffed animal and let the others hatch. I don't toss eggs until day 25 when I'm hatching. Have you candles the others to be sure they're alive and viable?

I candled on day 18 and everyone is saying not to open the incubator so I don't know if I should candle them. On day 18 tho they all looked the same and healthy. The temperature in the incubator has been fluctuating a lot but I don't know why one hatched a day early on day 20 and none have hatched on day 22

Open the incubator if you don't see any pips and just be quick about candling. I usually only let myself 90 seconds before I stop and wait a few hours to do more.

Okay thanks so much Ill do that. In your experience of hatching, do you ever have eggs that hatch this late? Should I be concerned?

Yes. That's why I wait until day 25. It usually means there's colder spots in the incubator
