Gorgeous!I got my white Phoenix at tractor supply. The employee picked two out of the bunch and ended with the pair. However, he started flying over the fence and going to nearby lots and didnt come back. But here is a pic of him with his long tail.

I read a couple of posts here describing Phoenix Roosters as mean. Guess I am lucky - I have maybe 20 roos and 20 or so hens - most of them will eat out of my hands and some will fly onto my shoulder.I had Silvers. Gorgeous birds! The hens were sweet and one hatched a clutch of eggs. The roosters were nasty! Meanest roosters I've had. I still remember my friend screeching at the top of her lungs and running away from my tiny little Phoenix roo
Cool!!! That's how mine will be... As they have been bred for freindlyness! Can you please post pictures? I would absolutely LOVE TO see them!!I read a couple of posts here describing Phoenix Roosters as mean. mine will be LF... I am getting silver blue birchen, and blue breasted red/gold.Are you getting bantams or LF? I don’t know much about bantams but if you plan on showing LF, Gold, Silver, & BBR are the only accepted varieties. The Fawn Silver DW and the Blue BR birds are gorgeous project birds though.
