Anyone else excited about their garden?

Shouldn't - Tomatoes are mostly self or wind polinated you almost have to do it by hand to get hybrids. I've never heard of tomatoes and eggplants cross polinating....... but you never know.......

I wasn't sure. The lady at the nursery said the zuccinni and squash would cross polinate and I hadn't heard about that before, either.

Yeah the zuchini and squash are bee pollinated so they can play tricks on you

I don't have room for a garden. so I guess I am just out of luck but i will plant a couple of tomato plants beside my porch.

between the dogs (one dobie, and one irish setter) and setting up for the chickens, I don't either, so I share a garden with one of my friends in their yard

I think if you grow an avocado pit in a glass of water you are gardening

a pot a bed a plot a foot an acre

who cares growing stuff anywhere makes a person feel soooooo good!

I started gardening on a balcony with milk crates as my planters in Texas

(ended up with a fire ant infestation but learned!!!)

start anywhere

you can grow fresh ginger in a pot ..even peanuts will grow in a pot

lemon grass from the grocery store will root in a glass of water and makes a great houseplant

herbs grow great in windows or under a cheapo growlight on a table

have fun and plant something

We always just use romas. We got a nice thick sauce last year too. It takes all day to simmer we start with about 70 quarts and when it is done cooking down we canned adout 35 quarts of sauce.
