We have a small flock of gold laced wyandottes, blue, lack and splash cochins, then there's the guineas, and Muscovy ducks. How about you? What birds do u raise?

I'm brand new to the site and too chickens, and live in the Eastern Panhandle. My first chicks came home today. So excited!

I love my welsummers. The rooster is a bit testy but usually it's when something is off a bit. Like if a hen starts her egg song when I am in the coop he freaks and will stare me down through the door. But he is gorgeous. I am trying to hatch out some more hens but so far they have been roos. Got some more in the bator hoping they are hens lol. My customers love the shiny dark russet eggs I get from my hens.

I love dark eggs. I have 5 black copper marans...4 hens and a roo. They are four months old now. I've already been watching for eggs. Lol.
