Anyone want to take a guess 9 week old EE

Now what is meant by single row of peas?

A picture is worth a thousand words so I have posted two of them below. Peas are the little bumbs in the row of a pea comb. Female EEs typically have a single row of peas in their pea combs; male EEs typically have a triple row of peas in their pea combs.

Silly question are EE the same as Ameraucanas? I didnt know if easter eggers was a nickname or its own breed?

No, Ameraucanas are a true breed that are required to conform to SOP standards including slate blue legs, muffs, beards, pea, combs, standard color patterns, and they lay only blue eggs. EEs are hybirds produced by crossing blue egg layers (such as Ameraucanas) with brown egg layers to produce offspring that lay eggs in colors other than just blue (olive, green, beige, and sometimes even pale pink). Since EEs are hybrids, there are no standards for their physical appearance. They often have greenish colored legs (but not always), pea combs (again not always), they may or may not have muffs and beards, and they come in myriads of different colors and patterns. There is a good article at http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2011/09/ameraucana-easter-egger-or-araucana.html explaining the difference between true Ameraucanas, true Araucanas (another blue egg laying breed), and Easter Eggers.
