Are my quail sick?

My quail sound like they are coughing or sneezing. What is it and what do I do?

Do they have runny noses? Any face swelling or discharge from the nostrils or eyes? A cough sounds like a cough. Sneezing is a very quiet sound of moving air. If these are dry sneezes then it may be due to your bedding. If they are sneezing wet, then you will need antibiotics. Some Duramycin in the water for 7 to 14 days should clear it up. Usually coughing only is Quail Bronchitis which is a virus and you have to wait it out till the bird heals itself.
