We live in a cul-de-sac in a rural neighborhood. All houses on our street have at least 2 acre lots. Our property is 9 acres.
We accidentally got a rooster last year. He's an Easter egger, very beautiful and LOUD.
He crows nightly about every hour beginning at 2am. He's driving us nuts along with our neighbors. We're thinking of rehoming him because of the noise.
My question is, if we accidentally get another rooster, is it possible that it may not be as loud as this one?
We currently have 6 chicks about 8 weeks old....odds are couple are cockerels. I'm also getting 7 barnevelder eggs in a few weeks and the same thing applies that I'll end up with multiple roosters.
How do I choose which one, if any to keep?
