Are the runt eggs fertile?

Every once in a while I get a smaller than usual quail eggs. Has anyone tried to hatch super small eggs?

Interesting, I've never had an unusually small egg. Try hatching and see?

Many times those really tiny eggs do not contain a yolk. And the ones that do, generally do not hatch healthy babies as well.

i had a extra small coturnix egg hatch last wednesday it was healthhy but was very tiny it is still doing fine almost 1/2 the size of the others
