I also wondered about #1 but I would think that I’d see some kind of saddle feathers growing in by now. I haven’t had an Easter egger so wasn’t sure. Does it matter if my roo l( whose 2yrs old ) loves this one like the adult hens ? When I put them all together for a little bit he would show this one treats and not try to fight or run it off.I agree they are all pullets.
The only one I would have any doubts about is #1, but if it was a cockerel it should have male feathers by now.
I agree. They all are pullets.All three are pullets. They cannot be roosters, as a rooster is a male chicken over a year of age; a cockerel is what you call a male chicken who has not reached that age yet.
#1 looks suspicious, but should have male feathering by now; #2 is definitely a pullet, as they are an autosexing breed; and #3 is definitely a Blue-Laced Barnevelder pullet.
