the newly hatched need 90F it will drop to 80 tonight in the valleys. A regular light bulb would give enough heat tonight.

Quick I need help! I bought these chicks back in April and I was told they were both hens. But they're not developing the same. Am I crazy or is one a rooster and one a hen? Or is one just older than the other?

Oh no! This is the third hen that I've purchased that has turned into a rooster! Anyone want a rooster? I already have one and this one has been pecking my hen so bad she's missing all her back feathers.
