Unless they have a particular need medically, chickens bathe by dust bathing I made a video about it here

Yes, but sometimes when their back ends might look like they have some big poo buildup, they need a bath too. People who show their birds also bathe them, but there was another video to do that one over in youtube.

The coop entrance, corner of the ac, right in the middle of nowhere where you walk, etc

Got a newbie doing that this morning not sure which one, but most of them have gotten the idea of the nest box


Where was the funniest/unexpected place you found an egg?

Not a funny place, but an unexpected result. Found an egg buried in the coop litter the other day. Had no idea how long it had been there, so I tossed it out back and it broke open. Turns out that buried egg was developed almost to the hatch point. The developing chick had feathers coming in. Didn't expect balut!

Anyone who sells fertilized eggs how do you treat them before sale? Just right out of the box to the buyer?

And anyone know of ways to sell eggs locally?

I found an old picture of the alfalfa nest! Everyone was gathered around to check it out "You know we aren't supposed to lay our eggs out here, right Momo?"

I have one that I can't get to stop laying in the alfalfa in my hay barn. Flavor for the horses?

You mentioned awhile back that you were wanting to downsize part of your flock. Where you able to do that, then?
