Oh by the way, did you ever figure out what the eggs marked L and G were?
Dr Bramwell has the following and marks them as:

Large Fowl Black-Breasted Red Araucana, All Other Standard Breed Class, (A) –Silver Spangled Hamburg, Continental Class, (G) –Mottled Houdan, Continental Class, (H) –Naked Neck, All Other Standard Breed Class, (N) –Lakenvelder, Continental Class, (L) –Salmon Faverolle, Continental Class, (F) –Black Sumatra, All Other Standard Breed Class, (S) – Silver Phoenix, All Other Standard Breed Class, (X) –Red Shoulder Yokohama, All Other Standard Breed Class, (Y)

Bantam Breeds: Sicilian Buttercup, All Other Comb Clean Leg Class, (B) –White Silkie, Feather Legged Class, (W) –White Faced Black Spanish, Single Comb Clean Leg Class, (P) –

We are now getting some Lemon Cuckoo Orpington eggs. Male is Greenfire line. Hen is direct import from England.

Would like to trade for equal value in Exhibition Rhode Island Red large fowl hatching eggs. The RIR are for a 4H member.

Or

Trade for equal value in Exhibition Jersey Black Giants large fowl hatching eggs. They are for a 4H member.

My eggs were marked with a "B" but they were green eggs= doesn't makes sense Sicilian Buttercup?
I understood him to say that they were from Araucana and White Leghorn cross, I guess bantam since they were peewee eggs.
I guess I'll have to e-mail him to make sure.

He has developed a non-Standard breed that is Blue feathered and lays a blue egg. That may be it. Here is what he sent me about them.

Mine are the White-faced black Spanish Bantams. They were marked with "P".
I can see some developing already.
