Hi all!, we adopted 3 new hens and I work at a vet so ran a fecal test and they have Rounds, Capilaria, and Coccidia.....ugggg
Question- looks like you can use Ivermectin. Anybody use this treatment?, looks like no documented egg withdrawl, but safe side said 1 week
thanks!

I would use either Valbazen 1/2 ml given orally and repeated in 10 days. Or give SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer or the horse paste 1.25 ml orally for a 5 pound chicken for 5 consecutive days. For coccidiosis, you want to start Corid liquid 2 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. Ivermectin is not presently approved for chickens, although some still use it, but it is thought to have lost some effectiveness in worms. Toss eggs for 14 days after using any of the wormers.
