After all the reading I read last night, I am thinking this one might be a pullet because the dot on its head it small and well defined.

Yeah, if this proves true then yes, I would say you have a female with a tiny little distinct head spot. (The male's spot would look like a larger, diffuse smudge.)

Yours has much larger and redder wattles, and is lighter in color, so I’m guessing male.

Here is a picture of her headspot as a little one, it was very faint:
