Automatic Egg Turner?!!!!

Yay! I finally got an automatic egg turner today! Its great except there are a few things Im not too sure about. I have been turning my eggs by hand with them laying on the wire screen in the bottom of the bator. Is it going to affect the outcome of my hatching if i go ahead and put them in the turner after i have been hand turning them with them on their sides?

I still have so much to learn about hatching eggs! Thanks everyone for being patient and helping me out with the great advice and lots of support!

I highly doubt that it will affect your hatch if you put your eggs in the turner. After all the point of turning is to keep the developing embryo from sticking to one side of the shell so it shouldn't matter how its done.

Keep a close eye on the temp in your bator as the turner will produce a little heat and the eggs will be raised a bit closer to the heating element.
