Avian Pox??

From what I read if it is Avian Pox, there is nothing I can do. Several others in the flock are showing signs of it as well. Do they just eventually pass away? Can still consume their eggs? Thanks!

Fowl pox is a virus spread by mosquitoes. It last around 3 weeks, and most healthy chickens recover with no treatment. They are usually immune after recovery. The dry form causes the brown scabs on face, combs, and wattles. The more serious wet form can cause yellow patches inside the beak and throat making it painful to eat and drink. If you have any chickens who stop eating, look inside the beak with a light. Baby chicks do have more serious problems with pox. Watch for scabs around eyes that may make it hard to see well enough to get food and water. There is a fowl pox vaccine that can be given to chickens showing no symptoms.
