I had the one infront I got on sat. then I really wanted to get more so I drove 3 hr. and bought 2 more. these are Icelandic chickens.

Aren't they (Icelandic chickens) fairly rare? Are you going to breed them or are the just for eggs or perhaps pets?

Thanks I just hatched out 3 mutts today more due tomorrow, these are just a bit younger than the chicks I bought. First 2

These are from a health food store's fridge. Green egg and white egg. The third one is from a brown egg looks like the black chick with feathered feet.

I started with POLs last Aug but now I 4 LFs, 5 small bantam crosses 8 weeks old, 4 Cochin x buff orps also 8 weeks and a Cream legbar approx 6 weeks and if I had room I would have more, have fun with your girls
