Got 2 new chicks today a buff orhington and an ameriauana they r so cute!!!

I wondered about them for tick control but had been told they were noisy. Guess they can't be much worse than the dog kennel next door.

Superb for insect control, but noisy and get into your flowers and garden. No one will sneak up on you, that's for sure.

What an amazing flock you have! They are all so cute! Being new to owning chicks i was under the impression chickens didnt enjoy getting wet! After seeing some of yours in the small pool im considering moving mine closer to the coop since it gets up to 110 here in the summer. Do all chickens enjoy water or is this more of a personality trait?
