We are spending warm afternoons outside here in Florida, but Mom tucks us back in the brooder for the evenings.

One of my oddest looking Silkie chicks at the moment due to how the white fluff is coming in. XD

Mine were terrified of me when I brought them home. I set their brooders up in my school room (where I spend most of my time) and handled them regularly. I even let a few sit with me at the computer to let them get used to me. They came around after a few days. I took them outside for supervised free ranging and they stayed pretty close to me, a couple never even left my lap.

I went out-of-state for 1.5 weeks and my birds were so excited to see me when I got home, it was precious.
