Baby duck won’t stop crying!

4 day old duckling, the duck is a call duck. He has a heating pad, mirror plenty of clean water and food. The duck also has a stuffed animal. One night he was okay sleeping but most others he won’t quit crying even tho he can see me. I’ve tried the ticking clock background it has only helped a little bit I’m not sure what to do to get the little duck to sleep. He seems to sleep more throughout the day then night.

Sarajames, i bought 2 call ducks at the 4h fair when i was a kid. They wouldn't let me have just one. They said they need company. Years later, i learned that the males are mute. I thought mine was just quiet. So if yours continues to make a bunch of noise as it grows, it's probably a female. I hope the temp suggestion helps.

Call ducks do better when there is more than 1. You might consider getting it a friend or two.
