I just pretend they are cute little baby rabbits when I'm looking at the pics.
I can't pretend when they start looking like rats though. My nakkie popped again but i think she doesnt produce milk is why she keeps losing them so I switch out my whites litter and gave her the new borns well see if shell take care of them or not. Her babies are almost 3 weeks so right now they are with the other females. As for my blacks litter out of 9-10 babies only one is a female! View attachment 3846312View attachment 3846313
I hope your little one makes it. And, I hope you can find a way to eliminate that wild rat problem. Those babies are so adorable. It’s sad to see them under attack. So he survived the night and is healing
He was crying allot yesterday prolly from the sibs stepping on him etc but isnt crying asb much today View attachment 3849012
Well things got switched around now i have a bigger problem something stole one on my ducks from my shed so now my gander and pair of ducks are in my rat shed until i can see what im dealing with on that so maybe that will deter wild rats for a bit in that shed. I still have one from a last litter missing her front arm because of one and some missing tails thought i got the big rat but this new one looks like a female possibly did see a dying female few weeks ago.I hope your little one makes it.
