I have noticed lately that I will get an egg that when cracked the white is extremely thick, like it wont fall out of the shell when cracked unless I physically dump it. Usually when you crack an egg, the white slips out. Eggs are collected once a day. It is only one color egg, peach shell. I think it might be bad. Not sure how, unless an egg is hidden and then found by the kids????????

A really firm egg white mean the egg is fresh, but their are 2 parts to the egg white, the inner part that anchors the yolk, which is firmer than the outer part. Is the entire white firm like the inner part?

When an egg is bad the white is usually runny, so I don't think it's bad. Would you mind posting a pic so we can have a look?
