Badly pecked Orpington

She is the roosters favorite and has lost the feathers on her backside from being mounted so often. The other girls noticed her revealing pink skin and started pecking. It looks bad. I am treating her wounds and she will be fine. Wondering if anyone is selling saddles that would fit a full grown Orpington. I would like to purchase some. If you plug "chicken saddles" into the search engine here on BYC, you will pull up old threads with links to places that sell saddles. Some of the threads also have patterns for you to make your own, it really is not difficult at all, especially if you just make them with stretchy material. Could you pull out the rooster for a bit so they can have a break?
