Bald headed quails - help

I would just take the cut quail to a seperate inclosure to heal and moniter the others carefully. Try to figure out wich one is causing the problem and take that one away permanently.

As long as there is no blood don't worry. Remove it as soon as there is a open woumb.

After two months it would be like a new home to them.

Last night we heard something near the quail run and think a Fox or cat maybe trying to get them at night and this is freaking them out. So I think we are going to transfer them back into the shed, not so nice for them, but at least I can shut them safely away at night, it is also a bit bigger, but doesn't have so much light.

If your wanting eggs then Christmas lights will do.

Cool thanks, we have a solar light in there so hoping that will work too.

I am just concerned about it getting to hot in there, but can leave the door open during the day to allow fresh air, an I'm in the UK so never gets really hot.

Let's see how they cope with another change
