bantam crested polish.. sex please?!?!?!

I've had a guy feeling it's a boy ice been told by numerous a female. "rebel" is now 6months in age and another bantam I bought with rebel started laying today.. I went on vacation for about 8 days and came back to alot of red on the face and the waddles getting bigger!! Rebel has always been spunky and skittish but also very cuddly when held. No crowing yet and haven't seen the chicken Mount any others.. Also I went to pat rebels back and I thought she/he squated a bit. The other chicken I bought Wth rebel also started squating but like couple of weeks ago and layed today. So I'll find out soon enough unless polish don't lay until there older?? Please help if u can thanks

My Polish boys had a lot more comb at this age, but, that crest isn't as round as you normally see on pullets. I'm torn. Can you post a full body shot from the side, with the chicken standing naturally?
