Bantum Cochin---Lazy or normal

I just got a couple Cochin's. The hen seems to avoid running around, and spends most of her day roosting. Durning free range time she stays close to the yard, and ventures maybe 15 feet. I have others that stay close. She looks good, crop is normal, eats and poops well (I think). She can run well. Is the breed really calm or lazy? The frizzle Roo of the pair is more active.

My cochin's are active when I first let them out. They will scratch about for an hour or so. Then they mosey back up to the coop and nap.

That pretty much is the question, scratch for a hour, then nap. The others go for hours to all day, depending on heat. Maybe the breed is nap champions, like me.
