are they the same age? if they are I would guess that the second one is a pullet because she is lacking the distinct hackle and saddle feathers that the roo has

Some mature more quickly than others. Remember middle school when some guys looked like boys and some like young men? Same thing.

thanks so much! I bought them from someone who was breeding them, so they could be different ages by about a week, at the most 2 weeks. they are about 3 1/2 months or so...? I'll go with them being roos.
