My vote is Australorp. They'll have some white wing feathers as babies, but then later turn all black.

X2 on that. I've raised both Black Australorps and Black Sex Links for years and it can be easy to mistake BA chicks and BSL female chicks as they look very similar.

So I am sort of lost. What is your thoughts on pullet or cockerAl? And then votes on breed? I love all the help!!! Thank ypu

I still say Australorp. It's too young to accurately guess gender (by 8 weeks it will be semi-obvious), but so far it has a very small comb. I think there's at least an 80% chance of it being a pullet.

It is not a Barred Rock. A Barred Rock at that age would have a white spot on the top of it's head and noticable barring already in its wing feathers.
