Barred Rock or Cuckoo Maran?

The leg color is similar to hatchery quality BRs, while they are not standard with slate legs I don't think... The barring is the big thing that makes me think Maran. BRs usually have that nice clean barring while the cuckoo barring is definitely messier.

Can you see, pleas, if the feathers is always ending with the black bar?
Beside the color of shanks, this is another sign for SCM.

Her feathers do in fact end with a black bar instead of white! Even wings and tail!

So you have a SCM! :thumbsup
You should get a very brown egg soon!

I hope they will be like this!( web pic!)

Thanks!

Do you know the Tinamou from Saouth America?

You're welcome. I've heard of the Tinamou, but I've never seen one (just pictures) nor have I heard of any of them being domesticated.

They are a very common meat fowl in mezzo- america, and south America
If you can imagine yourself eating a bird that lay this wonderful eggs!
In fact we tried 0.5 year ago to deliver some eggs here to Israel from a big tinamou farm from Columbia, if I remember correctly, but it didn't happen in the end. I know that there are some birders in the USA that have them,,,, :)
