Barred Rocks Good Shepard Poulty Ranch

Bob, Thanks for all the invaluable information. I am reading all of this and trying to get an education and develop my eye. Without the knowledge that you are passing down, the attempt to preserve these heritage breeds isn't going to happen. It would be a pity for the breeds to be gone and the knowledge of the past to be lost. Thanks again.

Are you saying she should be longer in the back? Or that she already has a nice long back?
I do appreciate all the info I am finding here. Please keep it up!

Thanks so much for clarifying that for me Bob. I get confused easily

I got these lovely birds fom Kathy.

I am loving watching my BR's from Kathy grow. These are turning 24 weeks...
No crowing or squatting yet...still putting all their energy into growing.

Their fine and precise barring is fascinating. It is almost mesmerizing, like 60's OP Art.

Hi everyone,
Just got e-mails from Jeremy with these pictures to put on forum. These are his gorgeous winning Barred Plymouth Rocks from Good Shepherd Ranch. Can't wait to get mine, (hopefully next month).
