Bedding for nesting box!@#$%^&*()(**^%## please help

I have one more question! Since a silkie doesnt ike to roost should i but a little more bedding in here just in case they want to sleep there in the winter to stay warm??///???/

It might help them stay warm, but you'll have to replace or add a lot of bedding to keep the eggs from getting poopy. If I put too much nesting material in the boxes my layers just scoop it out easier. For nesting material I use old hay or shredded office paper.
