Bedding question for baby chicks

Can I put some sweet pdz down in their bedding to help combat the smell a little? They are currently in a big area with pine shavings down.

It really shouldn't be that smelly! If the smell is strong I suspect the bedding possibly needs to be changed out more often. Amonia fumes are really bad for chicks/chickens so it's a good idea to not have it smelling bad. I use pine shavings (de-dusted) and I find them really good for absorption.
But yes, Sweet PDZ is safe to use in the brooder!
