#1-5 are chicks that we recieved "Barnyard Breed" from a lady who collect the baby chicks after the eggs have hatched at schools/nursing homes etc. I don't know these breeds or genders. I would appreciate your best guesses. I don't have many chickens with combs (most have pea combs) so these all scream rooster to me. I am think 3 of these are roosters (Rainbow, Margarine, Mabel?)
#6-9 we bought Ameraucana chicks, though from reading these forums I understand they are likely EEs. Best Guesses on whether they are EEs and their genders would be appreciated. (I suspect #8 is a Roo)
Due to being a first time chicken owner as well as having 3 young children we have decided it is best to learn chickens with roosters not involved.
Thanks in advance! I am eager to learn from experienced people!
Also, chickens are hard to take good pictures of!

I think u have EE's 6-9.
I was guessing #1 was a rhode island red something, but I will google New Hampshire Red and learn more chicken facts! Thanks for your response!

Thank you! I am not surprised #1 and #2 are cockerels. #9 must be a EE because the lady I bought from only has Ameraucans, Australorps and Marans mixed. I will get better comb pictures in the future (hopefully tomorrow!)

@Tookie and @roonster do you want to give your guess now that there is an update. I feel a little unsure with my limited knowledge, but cannot keep any roos this first time learning chickens, I want them out before the snow flies

I think some of the pictures are mixed up with the names, so I hope I'm right.
I'm thinking 2, 6, 8, 9, and 10 pics are cockerels. :(

Oh you are right. For some reason the picture uploaded wrong. I am going to re upload them with names and number the files.
