Best tasting breed

Hi and welcome to BYC :frow We're so happy you've decided to join us:ya
I personally believe flavor is a function of what they are fed, how they are raised and time. The longer they take to grow out, the stronger the flavor. So it's a trade off between tenderness and flavor. My CX birds taste way better than anything you can buy in a store. So much so that I don't eat chicken out anymore. My year old Delaware cockerels come it at 3-4 pounds and have a super flavor, but they have to be cooked low and slow to get them tender.
