Henny Penny, my beloved cross beak EE and her sister Fajitas are rarely separated. In my flock of 10 hens they rank as 9 and 10 respectively. The underchooks need to stick together. Here they are in the rose beds taking a communal dustbath.

These are Angel and Chillin 2 of our younger EE's we got as week old chicks from our Farm Fair. Being younger than the others, they are on the low end of the pecking order. These 2 are never far apart. Angel is a bit smaller in size than Chillin and if anyone (chicken or guinea) try to mess with Angel, Chillin is right there to protect her.

Aww - I wish we had some BFFFs that I could post pictures of. They are so cute. I love the side by side dust bath.

Our two EEs are toward the bottom of the pecking order, but they aren't really friends.
