Bielefelder "Mothers"?

I have one Bielefelder hen who is broody. Trying to break her; not ready for chicks. But man, she is not happy with me one. little. bit. !
I was wanting a broody hen to hatch some eggs... I thought the Bielefelder would be great, because I have to keep her separate from the others...
Instead my BLRW went broody, so I moved her from the main coop and put her on some eggs with the Bielefelder, since I knew the BLRW would just think about her eggs and not bother the Biele...
One evening I went there and couldn't find the Biele...
She was sleeping behind the broody's box...
Then I noticed, all day she stays there and watches over the broody...

My unbreakable broody Bielefelder was given chicks that were about 4-5 days old Saturday night. She tucked them in, picked at toes but no real aggressive stuff……until today. She killed every one of them.
I will not allow her to have chicks again, ever. Poor babies, I feel horrible by the way they died! Just awful for them. :hit
