Black australorp chick with growing comb

Meet penguin!! The sweetest thing but I'm convinced she's a him. I would be very sad of so because we can not have roosters in town and she is my favorite. I got her from a feed store a little over 3 weeks ago, what do you guys think

Can you get a picture without the red light? Hard to tell with the lighting.

That's a big comb for a baby, it most likely is a cockerel. But I'd still wait on this, I've had Black Australorp pullets grow big combs early. If this comb is red right now, (not pink) it's a boy.

That is not a she, as we already said. He is a cockerel for sure.

Unfortunately it does look like a cockerel here. That comb is pretty red even without the light. And quite large too.

I would vote cockerel with the combination of comb and no tail feathers
