Black australorp hen or roo

First I just got this black australorp still young, but is it a hen or roo? Also it’s sneezing with clear liquid I ordered some vetrx and seperated from the rest but I’m new to chickens is there anything else I should do or give?

The VetRx will not help her. Keep her quarantined and see if she clears up away from any dusty or ammonia ridden air she may have been previously breathing. If her respiratory symptoms worsen, I would treat her with Tylan50 which you can purchase at most farm stores. The dose is 1/2 ml/Kg given orally twice daily for 7 days.

She has no roo tail feathers so I am going to say hen she looks 6 months old approximately

I'd definitely take the advice given above.

I also would give vitamin water to help it fight off whatever it's got. We give ours periodically either Nutra Drench or Poultry Cell in their water.

The VetRx isn't going to cure anything, but as long as you've got it, just put a dab on her chest beneath both wings and near her nostrils. It's like Vicks for humans, so it might help her feel better.
