Hey all,
Long time lurker, first time posting. What's everyone's thoughts on a possible rooster? They are 9 week old Easter Eggers and Black Australorps in the pics. The Australorp is in question. If the suspect rooster is a rooster that's 2 outta 12 different breeds that were supposed to be all pullets....
Anyways thanks in advanced!
The faces and combs look identical.

Long slender tail, not consistent with the others... I could be paranoid, our last roo was the sweetest, most loving guy, and we had to give him away because we're in the city for now.

You can check our content/photos of when we played the BA gender guessing game, lol. I'd go with female on that one. Our roos had big red combs early

Etaz thought it said July, what's the verdict?

Thanks for the reply and all your content on the australorps, they definitely are tricky. This is our first pair of australorps so the gender game was a learning experience. Thankfully all hens! But goodness they are a spicy breed!

They look like females to me too.
The best explanation I've heard for sexing black australorp is seeing bright red combs or waddles before 10 weeks means rooster. All the combs I can see look the same shade of pink.

Thats good to know about the combs, thank you! Now that were at the 19 week mark, one seems to be maturing faster then the other, she has bigger waddles and comb. I'm still confident they are hens, also it took a while but they are finally warming up to us. Totally different youngster mannerisms then our other breeds.
