Black bumps on rooster comb!

I already went to the vet and they gave me medicine and it works perfectly. When I rub it on the comb the black bumps fall right off. He know has opened his eyes. The vet cost me $160 but it is worth it I just won't get a phone in a year or so.

I have found that putting alum in the water is the best treatment for fowl pox. It is a old time remedy and it works.

Have been researching these black crusty scabs on rooster comb (Buff Orphington) and not happy with findings. Please any thoughts or advise and thank you. He is only 3.5 years old.
