OK, just keep an eye on the tread and I'll pick out a pattern, not to hard I hope.

Here is an easy one we could do, say we make the small dark one's on the block a dark color and make the four other dark one's a little lighter with a lighter color on the rest. You can put this together for a quilt in so many ways, and it looks easy.
