Bloody egg

So is there anything you can do to help the hen stop laying bloody eggs? My Blue Maran pullets lays bloody eggs every time. I don't want to keep her if she won't lay eggs that I can't eat. They're very bloody

Why couldn't you eat it? Whatever is on the shell be it mud, poop or blood smear it's still on the outside of the egg and not the part you eat. Wash the outside prior to breaking it open. That said the young layer frequent blood smear will stop once everything is stretched out.

Is the blood on the inside or outside of the egg?
Pics would really help if you would post some....
...to see just how much and what kind of 'bloody' they are.
