Hi. I found my chicken Chickadee in the nestbox this morning and thought she was just laying an egg but then I went back a few minutes ago and she was still in the nextbox and very lethargic.
I brought her inside and she had a very runny bloody poop with some "fleshy" looking chunks. I am suspecting that she might be egg bound. She is not interested in eating. I am going to go get some Calicum Citrate and give that to her, but what else should I do? What other symptoms should I look for. Her tummy feels a little firmer (not hard like cancer tho) than ususal, but I didn't feel any obvious eggs when I quickly felt her tummy. Attatched are pictures of her, the poop and the wierd 'fleshy' chunk that was in the poop.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I'd give her the Calcium Citrate once daily.

Is vet care an option? I'd consider giving an antibiotic to see if that helps as well. Amoxicillin would be a good choice.

I'm tagging in @azygous for her thoughts on this poop. I would suspect reproductive infection or cancer, but could be wrong.
