I bought them at the local Amish auction. Supposedly 16 assorted layers and 6 Ayam Cemanis. We bought them about 4 weeks ago and they were probably a week or so old.Where did you get them?
Ah, okay! I think most of them are mixed then, because of where you got them and I don't recognize all of what they could be.I bought them at the local Amish auction. Supposedly 16 assorted layers and 6 Ayam Cemanis. We bought them about 4 weeks ago and they were probably a week or so old.
Thank you, I'm hoping we get some good layers out of the bunch. Hopefully not all roos.Ah, okay! I think most of them are mixed then, because of where you got them and I don't recognize all of what they could be.
But the black ones do look like Ayam Cemanis. Pretty sure all the others are mixed.
I will say, the one standing on the feeder is a cross between an Ayam Cemani and some white breed. You've got the Ayam Cemanis and a white chicken so there were definitely those breeds to make the cross with, with whoever had them.
The brown-ish ones are mixes, no idea with what.
I think some of the Ayam Cemanis are males.Thank you, I'm hoping we get some good layers out of the bunch. Hopefully not all roos.
I hope you have some girls, and that you can sell all the boys you have.I think 3 are, I'm hoping for at least 2 ayams hens. Not sure what to do with the extra roos. I'll probably take them to the auction and get a few $ for them.
