Boy or girl?

How old are they? I thought a couple of my EE’s were cockerels but they kinda grew out of the signs I thought I was seeing. I thought their tails were a dead five away then the shoulders but then they evened out. I would say wait to get rid of them until you’re 100% sure.

Cockerel, but you still have months to get more birds so they will be warmer in winter.

Since they are 6+ weeks old, if I could find 2 , similar in age, can I just put them in together. My run is very big. They aren’t sleeping outside yet, they are still in the house, but I have been bringing them outside to enjoy the run on days above 60 degrees.

Yes, it was more like a scratchey screech, but he tried. He is gone now. Today I’m getting two 6 week old Welsummers. Hoping they are really girls!!
