Me again!

I have two Brahma x Marsbars chicks

I'm not sure how you sex the comb on these.

Mine are only 4 weeks old so it's still early days but I'd like to know what signs to look for. Our brahma only laid a handful of eggs and is now broody again so I'm hoping one of these is female.

The combs are tiny compared to the other chicks but I don't think all the boys are male and a Google search only explains pure bred Brahmas.

I've added pictures just for 😊 the one of the two its the one on the left.

These are two young. 6 weeks is a good place to start with sexing them. The things to look at are the development and color of the combs and wattles. If those areas have a growth spurt and are reddish before, say, 12 weeks old, then those will likely be males. Pullet combs and wattles will stay flat or will be very small, and will be more yellowish, usually, not red.

Thanks so it's the same, I was curious because I can't tell if they've got dad's single comb or mums pea comb because they're so tiny!
